Children's Corner Lucy Dress Sew-Along Contest

You might be wondering how exactly our Lucy Dress Sew-Along Contest is going to work. Let me explain.  We have set up 3 judges whom have been sent pictures of the six entries to. Each judge will pick their first, second, and third place choices. First place will receive 3 points, second 2 points, and third 1 point. We will also do the same for the Facebook voting. The person with the most Facebook likes will receive 3 points, second most will receive 2 points, and third most will receive 1 point. The person who ends up with the most points at the end will win a $50 gift certificate to our website.

We have the results of our first judge in and will share those with you in just a bit.  First though, we would like to take a minute to introduce you to our judge, Robin Hill.  Robin is a lover of fabric, a hoarder or patterns, a wife and mother of 3, and the owner of Pattern Revolution.

Note from designer: Made for my almost-1-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. It was a fun pattern, and I learned a lot. I made the pockets but decided not to use them because they were about the same size as the design! I'll definitely use this pattern and tutorial again.

Note from designer: Final Picture of my Lucy "Owlivia" Dress for my sweet Olivia. I used a blanket stitch to attach my pockets that I modified to take on the shape of the owls from the fabric. My daughter helped pick out the buttons to make the owl faces. This dress contains SO many firsts for me and I feel very accomplished. The smile and excitement from my precious girl made the tears I truly cried making this dress worth it!! Thank you for helping me along. Without the sew-a-long this would have been a defeat for me!
